Every six months, whether I need it or not...

Hi friends and family....
I can't believe it's been six months since I last posted. Since I found Facebook, and got caught by it's "tractor beam" of connectedness...it's been really hard to focus on this blog. I've enjoyed catching up on everyone else's blog, so I decided I need to resurrect my blog!

A lot of exciting things have happened in the past six months. Jay retired after 22 years in Law Enforcement, Jayson left Layton Christian Academy where he's attended school since 3 year old pre-K to begin home school and we took a two-week trip of a lifetime to the Mediterranean!

While each of these topics could be the subject of a post, suffice it to say that over the past six months we've been challenged to adjust to a new life together. In the end, I think we have done a good job adjusting....and we like it....for now. It's been great to spend more time together!

I know it's been a while since I posted something on my blog...I've been captured by the Facebook tractor beam and having difficulty unglueing myself! I'll try to be better in 2009. In the meantime, I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year!!!
